Join the 4am Club (For Cool Kids Only!)

I have been doing a wee experiment for the last few weeks and getting up at 4am. Yes 4am!!
Some may say I’m crazy, but don’t knock it till you try it!

If you want any of the following in your life then listen up……

More Time

More Productivity AND….

The ability to get closer to your source, your power, your purpose…..
This is it!

I have attracted a few people into the ‘4am Club’ as we call it, and I think it might become a bit of a thing. You know, like the thing the cool kids do. Haha.

The back seat bandits in the bus or the classroom.

The disrupters making moves when everyone else is sleeping.

The game changers being all stealth and productive in the night.

The people here to make a difference in this world and build an EMPIRE!

There is definitely something special about rising at 4am. A brand new day is born and I get to see it and experience its arrival.
The night is fading and the faint light is about to peak its rays above the horizon.

This is the time when the people of the world who are determined to get shit done will rise.
Those who are not going to settle for a mediocre life.
Those who expect more for themselves and from themselves.

There are a few key traits of successful people and one of them is rising early.
As they say, the early bird catches the worm. I am so much more productive in these wee hours of the morning because there are no distractions and I am powered up from a good night’s sleep. I use to think I was a night owl. Sure, I would get a lot done, but then I would get really tired and start to fall asleep at my computer, then sometimes pass out and wake up at some crazy hour, peel myself up, drag myself to bed and then wake up feeling not really that energized from broken sleep. Now I get the best of both worlds.

I get up, make my bed, grab a warm lemon water and off I go. So here is my morning routine that totally kicks butt and I am loving it!

4am rise

Lemon Water

Work for 2 hours

6am Run on the beach

6.45 Yoga

7.10 Meditate

7.30 Swim and shower

8am Dress, hair, face

8.45 Breakfast

9am Time to create (I call it this, some may call it work)

Then I do 4 x 45 min sprints to maximize the work I get done in the time that I have. Most peoples brain’s attention span is at its best for 45 minute time blocks. So I do 45 min on 15 min off.

By 12.45 my work is done. I have done my morning routine and 5 hours work. The rest of the day I have to play or do calls with Private Clients, or whatever the hell I want.

Now there are going to be days that I work more or less, and I usually do more because I love what I do, but what I think is most important is to have a structure around your morning and find a pattern that works for you.

I have a lifestyle that I have created where I can do what I want, when I want and I found that if I don’t have structure it takes me so long to do anything and things drag out because I have the time and a lack of deadlines. I was also doing things that were not useful.

I’m sure you have other things to fit into your life that I don’t, like kids or maybe you need to be at work at a certain time, but adopting an early rise and morning routine can be a total game changer no matter what you have to fit in. My cousin has 3 kids, all the sports etc and activities that come with that as well as a business to run and she has got up for a 5am run for as long as I can remember. She says it is ‘her time.’ The only time during the day she has a lone.

I always say that I will try anything once and some things twice. Lol. So I encourage you to try this on. Join the 4am Club of game changers. Rule breakers and the people who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world because they are the ones who often do.
